SHIRLEY HOWELLS was born in 1934 in Cape Town and she has been painting since 1985. Although she works in all media, she has latterly leaned almost exclusively to oils as her chosen medium. Joining the water Colour Society of South Africa in 2003, she achieved Associate status in 2005, during which time she had a number of works judged as Best on Show by both the public and the Society...
